Alex Hamilton has volunteered to be Head Baseball Coach at Breathitt High School.  “I’m glad to come home and excited to coach while giving back to the community I grew up in,” he said.

Hamilton played baseball and graduated from Breathitt in 2013.  He was awarded a baseball scholarship to attend Eastern Kentucky University and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Criminal Justice.  He wants his players to be able to experience baseball outside of high school and see the world like he did.

“I want the players to set goals to be competitive and grow as young adults,” stated Hamilton.

Breathitt High School is excited to have a former player bring his college experiences back to share with our students and look forward to a successful season.
