EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2018, REGULATION 902.KAR.2:060 REQUIRES ALL CHILDREN ENROLLING IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO HAVE ADDITIONAL SHOTS. PLEASE REFER TO THE REGULATION REQUIREMENTS FOR IMMUNIZATIONS LETTERS FOUND IN OUR DOCUMENTS SECTION OF THIS WEB PAGE.
Due to the changes in the Immunization regulation, 902 KAR 2:060, the following are important reminders for the 2018-19 school year:
1. All immunization certificates must be printed. No handwritten certificates can be accepted by schools.
2. All students who enroll, regardless of age or grade, must present a printed certificate to the school.
3. Home schooled students and private school students must follow these guidelines to participate in public school activities.
