Mr. Souder’s 5th grade Science classes are taking on the role of water resource engineers in order to help the people of East Ferris with their water problem. The classes have learned that the city on the other side of the island, West Ferris, does not have a water problem. They have found out that West Ferris gets a lot more rainfall than East Ferris. These engineers have learned how water vapor forms and turns into rainfall. Their next challenge is to find out why East Ferris doesn’t get the rainfall needed for their city. Mr. Souder is positive that the students will find a way to help the citizens of East Ferris!!
